This first stage is regulatory mandated for some activities. It aims to estimate the flows of pollutants or odours emitted by an industrial site. It provides necessary information to choose an appropriate technical solution of treatment as well as to estimate site impacts on the environment.
Audit consists in visiting the industrial site to identify and list in details emission sources. An intervention plan is established for the next stage: number and position of sampling points and nature of measures to realize.
Diagnosis consists in realizing measures and analyses previously defined. Sample collection techniques are adapted to the nature of sources and foreseen analyses.
Finally a report providing a quantified and hierarchical distribution of the streams of pollutants or odours emitted by sources is delivered.
